Not much to say about this bike. I bought it without engine, carburetors and oilcooler. I had all of those parts so it should be able to get it back to a complete bike sometimes. The seller owns a Martin that had a CB900 engine in it. He wanted more power and had bought a nicely running RB and removed the above mentioned parts for his Martin. The only good point about it is that the Martin with the 1100R engine is a really great bike.

The RB has been restored by a previous owner (the guy who sold it to the owner of the Martin) but it hasn't been done very well. The red parts (frame, etc.) have been powdercoated but in a wrong colour of red, many non original fasteners were used and some parts have been painted with a paintbrush. Also the fueltank has been repainted but quite bad (some sort of bikeshop decals can be seen UNDERNEATH the Honda wing and the red paint). It all appears to have been done with a minimum of costs (and to me a waste of money, such a poor job). The frontbrakesystem used an unknown master cylinder and CBX750 or VF1000F/R calipers. Brakelines were steel braided. The only remarkable parts on it are RC rearshocks with red painted reservoirs, those might come from one of the RC's I own as that bike originally had such rearshocks. Besides it was equiped with an RC/RD seatunit (painted flat white) and a seat made by a dutch motorcycle seat specialist. The original seat came with the bike as well, luckily.

At the moment the frame with frontfork, swingarm and wheels is at one location. The engine is at another location and needs an overhaul before I'll use it again. That engine comes out of one of my RC's and consumed a huge amount of oil and was vibrating much.

My plans with that bike are a complete stripdown and rebuild so it'll be like new again once finished. No hurry with that, other bikes need to be finished first.
